Law and technology, from a multidisciplinary perspective
DTEC is the Law and Technology Study Group of the Law School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). The group studies the relationship between law and technology from a multidisciplinary perspective, bringing together students and researchers from law and technical fields.

The Law & Technology Study Group of the UFMG Law School (DTec UFMG), coordinated by Professor Leonardo Parentoni, aims to maintain a permanent training group on topics related to Law and Technology, for in-depth academic discussion of these topics and for scientific output.
It is registered with the Department of Civil and Commercial Law and Procedure of the UFMG Law School and with NIEPE/FDUFMG as one of the School’s permanent study groups. It was founded in 2018 by students of the UFMG Law School, under the coordination of Professor Leonardo Parentoni. Its goal is to carry out scientific activities on the many interactions between Law and Technology, run by the students themselves (student-run).
